Interviews - BloggingTricks.com

If you want to attract readers, tell a story and build interest in your blog, one of the best ways to do this is interview interesting people. Some bloggers regularly feature interviews as a way to engage the audience and increase traffic all at once.
I interviewed Guy Kawasaki, a venture capitalist and one of the people who was part of the original Apple Macintosh team when he launched a new product called FilmLoop. The interview was incorporated into a podcast but just as easily could have been done on a blog.
When I announced the interview, my traffic went way up, my readers responded with lots of e-mail and Mr. Kawasaki was kind enough to link to my site. I attracted a new audience and kept my existing audience happy.
Now you don't have to interview someone famous to be successful. Just someone interesting. Whoever you interview, you can count on one thing. Other people in the interviewee's circle of interest will find out about your blog and perhaps visit it for themselves.
