Last week there was a remarkable event held in San Jose, CA. It was called BlogHer. The organization called BlogHer bills itself as a community "building a guide to women bloggers. In 20+ popular topics, you'll find lists of blogs by women and constantly updating guides to what's hot..."

Lots of bloggers were posting from the conference and I was able to follow along quite nicely even though I wasn't at the event. The men (yes men could attend the conference) and women who attended seemed to get a great deal out of the event and I have to say I am really sorry I couldn't attend. I think there's a great deal to learn from these people...everything from how to put on a conference to how to blog. The BlogHer folks get the spirit of blogging.

There are many resources at the BlogHer site and it appears that there will be audio and blogs from the conference that you can take advantage of, even if you didn't go.
